Full-time Immediate Opening:
Accountant We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant for a distribution center in the Edison area. This position is accountable for creating invoices and credit memos, issuing them to customers by all necessary means, and updating customer files. Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30amam-5pm
Salary:
Depending on experience
Principal Accountabilities:
Issue invoices to customers Process credit memos Update the customer master file with contact information Submit invoices by electronic data interchange Prepare all bank deposits Update the vendor master file with contact information Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports. Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions. Maintains historical records by filing documents. Opening and distributing daily mail. Responsible for ordering office supplies Work with 401
Ks Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Accounting a must! Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Knowledge working with 401Ks Attention to Detail Thoroughness and organization Analyzing Information Vendor Relationships PC Proficiency Data Entry Skills General Math Skills Reply to this post for immediate consideration!
