Project Accountant

Overview:

Responsible for supporting financial operations across multiple projects, ensuring accurate cost tracking, reporting, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Monitor project expenses from initial planning through completion Manage invoicing, payables/receivables, and cash flow activity Produce periodic financial reports and assist with external reporting needs Maintain organized, audit-ready financial records and liaise with outside advisors Support cost allocation, billing reconciliation, and project-level financial tracking Assist with payroll processing and related documentation Handle lien waivers and general contract-related financial tasks

Qualifications:

Background in accounting, finance, or related field Experience with project-based or construction accounting preferred Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities Proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting software
