Role:

We are looking for a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business taxation, financial reporting, tax planning, and accounting processes. You will play a key role in helping clients manage their finances efficiently while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with clients to align their financial strategies with professional tax and accounting guidance. Examine and prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards. Manage client engagements for income tax and other tax filings across multiple jurisdictions, offering advisory support when needed. Develop, maintain, and improve accounting systems and documentation processes. Compute tax obligations and prepare returns, ensuring compliance with reporting and payment requirements. Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation, accounting standards, and industry best practices. Supervise the tax filing process for organizations of various sizes, guaranteeing timely and accurate submissions.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting and/or business accounting. CPA certification is an advantage, but not mandatory.

Skills & Competencies:

Proven experience (3+ years) in business tax preparation. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat. Familiarity with accounting and tax software such as GoFileRoom, UltraTax, Fixed Assets, or similar platforms. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.

$70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Application Question(s): Experience with Tax software such as GoFileRoom, UltraTax, Fixed Assets, or similar platforms.
