A Brief Overview This position is responsible for the bookkeeping and financial reporting of specialized services provided by Hospital-based subsidiary companies and physician network. This function includes all operational matters affecting the preparation and reporting of monthly financial statements. Prepares financial projections for the hospital and subsidiary entities during the annual budget preparation, monthly financial statement close process, and external audits. What you will do Performs detailed account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts. Provide supporting documentation to support annual audits and tax returns Prepare monthly journal entries for hospital and subsidiary locations Manage daily accounting and business functions throughout the month Candidate must be proficient in creating and modifying electronic report writers, required for sound financial analysis, managing projects and in-depth analysis of all financial aspects of the existing services and possible service line expansions. Communicates with management and staff concerning financial and strategic matters Demonstrates effective verbal communication skills Demonstrates excellent computer communication skills Prepares monthly and quarterly analysis of account variances. Attends various ad-hoc committees upon request Prepare monthly financial statement, consisting of balance sheets, income statement and key data for subsidiary locations Prepare the annual budget for subsidiary locations and help prepare schedules for the hospital annual budget. Education Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required Experience Qualifications 1-3 years 3+ years of experience in accounting required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent verbal and communication skills required.
