Hamilton, NJ Job Description A leading manufacturing company is looking for a jr. accountant to support their team. This jr. accountant will be responsible for processing invoices, posting payments, supporting the accounting team, and ad-hoc tasks. The candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, some professional experience, and strong MS Excel skills. Responsibilities Match invoices to online purchase orders accurately and promptly. Enter non-purchase order invoices accurately and promptly. Duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable including but not limited to: Verify and post bills and credits Enter, verify, and close debit memos and invoices Issuing credits to members' account Verify, match, and distribute vendor invoices with warehouse receiving documents Weekly vendor bill payment Additional tasks assigned by supervisor Additional Skills & Qualifications A degree in Accounting or Finance An understanding of and exposure to general operational accounting Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail, mathematical accuracy, and communication skills The ability to prioritize tasks, work efficiently, and have a sense of urgency Interviews are happening this week! Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Hamilton, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
