Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file Federal corporate/partnership and multi‑state income and franchise tax returns while resolving any technical or e‑filing issues. Review financial records and partner with accounting and leadership to assess tax impacts of business activities, including apportionment and allocation across plants. Support IRS and State audits by gathering documentation, explaining business transactions, and responding to notices regarding discrepancies. Perform annual tax provisions, true‑ups, and tax disclosures in accordance with FAS 109 and FIN 48, including preparing supporting documentation. Conduct tax research, monitor regulatory changes, and develop recommendations to identify potential tax‑saving opportunities. Execute international tax calculations such as GILTI, FDII, and Section 163(j).
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in accounting or taxation. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external auditors. Proven ability to research, analyze, and interpret tax regulations. #
