Head Accountant

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Head Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations. This role requires strong full-cycle accounting experience and management of an offshore support team, candidate must have logistics/supply chain experience. This role is strictly in-person. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting Process company payroll Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Prepare P&L statements and financial reports Maintain the general ledger Manage accounts payable and receivable Supervise and coordinate 3 offshore accounting staff Ensure financial records are accurate and up to date Support management with financial reporting Requirements 5+ years of accounting experience, must have logistics/supply-chain experience Strong experience with payroll, bank reconciliations, and P&L reporting Expertise with QuickBooks Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Experience supervising staff is an asset Work Environment In-office role - no remote work Very fast-paced industry Stable full-time position with growth potential Opportunity to take ownership of the company's financial operations Supportive team environment

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
