Salary/Hourly Rate:
$115k - $130k
Position Overview:
The Senior Property Accountant will join a seasoned accounting team in a hands-on, individual contributor role supporting the accounting and financial operations of a commercial real estate portfolio. This position is ideal for someone seeking long-term stability within a well-established organization. Responsibilities of the
Senior Property Accountant:
Manage full-cycle property accounting for commercial and industrial properties. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual property financial statements. Assist with tax return accounting and supporting documentation. Interpret and apply commercial lease terms accurately. Perform account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger. Work independently while collaborating with a tenured accounting team. Required Experience/Skills for the
Senior Property Accountant:
7+ years of experience in commercial real estate accounting. Strong understanding of real estate financial transactions. Experience with real estate accounting systems such as Yardi, MRI, or Oracle. Ability to work effectively in a stable, low-turnover environment. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills. Preferred Experience/Skills for the
Senior Property Accountant:
Background in commercial real estate.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
