Join our dynamic construction team, where you'll play a vital role in managing financial operations tailored specifically to the construction industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in a fast-paced environment, supporting project budgets, financial reporting, and compliance. You will be instrumental in ensuring accurate financial data, facilitating smooth project execution, and contributing to the overall financial health of our construction projects. Duties Process accounts payable and accounts receivable related to ongoing projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist with budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis to optimize project profitability Review and process monthly sub contractor AIA (G702 & G703) Project Job cost tracking and cost variance anlysis for multiple projects Manage monthly draw packages
  • billing and invoicing Experience Proven experience in corporate accounting with a focus on construction or real estate development preferred
  • minimum 5 years experience Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), accrual accounting, and double entry bookkeeping practices Familiarity with accounting software
  • Sage Intacct (a MUST) and Excel (pivot tables/V look ups) Bachelors Degree in Accounting Skilled in account reconciliation, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial analysis techniques Excellent understanding of debits & credits, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial concepts necessary for accurate financial management Other duties as required
