Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant with tax preparation experience required for CPA firm located in Manalapan, NJ. If you are looking for a home with a friendly environment you can grow in, we are it! The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in QuickBooks desktop and online. Having experience working with various industries within a CPA firm a plus. We are looking for a flexible self-motivated individual able to work as a team member, leader or independently. Responsibilities QuickBooks review and preparation of data entry, bank and credit card reconciliations and potentially review of other staff's work. Maintain financial records with accuracy with accuracy superb attention to detail. Must understand how to create and execute journal entries for month end closings, opening adjustments and year-end adjustments. Must fully comprehend how to prepare adjusted Trial Balance, Balances Sheet and Profit & Loss reports. Preparation of individual and business tax returns CPA Preferred.
