Staff Accountant

Job DescriptionJob Description SUMMARY This role is ideal for an accounting professional looking to deepen their experience in accounts receivable and transactional accounting. The position emphasizes managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting financial operations in a collaborative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Process and track incoming payments while maintaining accurate customer account records Assist with reconciliations, including credit cards and account balances Prepare journal entries and support month-end close activities Respond to vendor and customer inquiries related to payments and account status Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit readiness Support internal audits and assist with financial reporting requests Monitor transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards Assist with payment processing and general accounting operations

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 3-5 years of accounting experience, with exposure to accounts receivable processes Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and reconciliations Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments preferred Familiarity with payment processing and customer account management Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective written and verbal communication skills
