Staff Accountant

Job DescriptionJob Description RPM Development Group is one of NJ's leading developers of affordable housing with over two decades of experience. RPM's success in the affordable housing marketplace is largely attributed to the high standards consistently achieved in the quality of housing we produce. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to serve as Staff Accountant who will be responsible for the monthly general ledger closing in addition to the preparation of all journal entries. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Monthly general ledger closing, including preparation of journal entries for 15-18 properties General Ledger Account Reconciliations Bank Reconciliations Reconciliation and processing of all real estate tax bills Internal and external reporting Special projects as pertains to business needs Providing general assistance to Accounting Department Qualifications Accounting Degree plus 3-5 years of general ledger experience Knowledge of GAAP Proficient in Microsoft Office [Excel, Word, Outlook] Yardi Voyager and Quickbooks Detailed oriented and ability to consistently meet deadlines Property Management and/or residential construction experience a plus Compensation package includes excellent benefits and salary commensurate with experience.
