JBWS is dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence and fostering safe, supportive communities. We are committed to providing comprehensive services that promote healing, independence, and resilience for those affected by abuse. Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Accountant Financial Analyst to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will lead financial analysis, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support regulatory compliance. Your expertise will help drive strategic decision-making and strengthen our financial health, all while maintaining a commitment to our mission of service. Duties Financial reporting and analysis to include month end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations, analysis, and journal entry preparation. Preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial statements, management reports, and Board reporting packages. Develop and maintain agency-wide and program level financial reports, including profit and loss statements, variance analyses, dashboards and key performance metrics. Budgeting, Forecasting and Strategic Planning to include collaboration with CFO in preparation of the annual budget process. Prepare quarterly forecasts and long-range financial projections. Develop grant budgets and financial models to support funding applications and contract proposals. Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual budget-to-actual analyses. Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial records and accounting processes. Excellent analytical skills combined with the ability to interpret complex financial data for strategic decision-making.
