PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION OVERVIEW
Maintain business licenses, process property and real estate tax filings, property tax appeals, file annual reports, audit defense,1099 filings and compliance, assist with preparation of corporate tax returns and special projects
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Manage and apply for new business licenses and maintain database
  • Manage renewal process
  • Manage property and real estate filings process
  • Property tax appeals
  • Manage Filing and maintenance of annual reports
  • Prepare account reconciliations
  • Manage preparation and filing of personal business property tax returns
  • Manage the preparation and filing of gross receipts tax returns
  • Manage, prepare, and file Form 1099 (Approximately 700)
  • Develop and improve processes
  • Audit defense
  • Preparation of corporate State Income Tax Returns
  • Special projects
  • Develop & maintain relationships with tax department constituents. Keep them informed as necessary.
  • Files approximately 1,600 returns.
  • Foreign Bank Account Reporting (FBAR) What you bring
MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL
Bachelors Degree.
Major:
Accounting.
OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Use of financial systems, preferably SAP Ability to work independently. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. MS Excel.   • $125,100 The above represents the typical salary range for this position.
Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. Please note that the compensation listed reflects only base salary and does not include variable incentives or benefits. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on performance.
