A well‑established international pharmaceutical company located in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Senior Accountant with 4+ years of experience in a generic pharmaceutical comapny. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented accounting candidate with a strong background in financial reporting, accounts receivable, and chargeback accounting, along with solid ERP systems experience. Key Responsibilities + Participate in the monthly close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations + Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in accordance with US GAAP + Perform detailed analysis of accounts receivable, including customer balances and aging + Manage and analyze pharmaceutical chargebacks, including validation, reconciliation, and variance analysis + Maintain and reconcile fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and related reporting + Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate/resolve discrepancies + Assist with internal and external audits and provide supporting documentation + Support process improvements, system enhancements, and ad‑hoc accounting projects Requirements Required Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance + 4+ years of accounting experience within a generic pharmaceutical company is highly preferred + Strong hands‑on experience with financial reporting, accounts receivable, and chargebacks + Solid understanding of US GAAP and month‑end close processes + ERP systems experience required; SAP strongly preferred + Advanced Excel skills Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
