Automotive Accountant / BookkeeperVIP Honda - North Plainfield, NJ VIP Honda is seeking a detail oriented and dependable Automotive Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our growing dealership team. We are looking for someone who is organized, motivated, and experienced in dealership accounting processes. This position plays an important role in supporting daily dealership operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring transactions are processed efficiently. Responsibilities Process daily accounting and bookkeeping transactions Reconcile schedules and dealership accounts Post deals and verify deal paperwork accuracy Process accounts payable and receivable Assist with bank deposits and cash balancing Monitor inventory accounting and floor plan schedules Maintain accurate records for sales, service, and parts departments Assist with month end closing procedures Work closely with management and office staff to ensure accuracy and compliance Handle title and registration paperwork when needed Qualifications Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred Experience with dealership management systems preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Stable, long term opportunity Supportive team environment Opportunity for growth within the dealership Paid time off and benefits available VIP Honda has proudly served New Jersey drivers since the 1960s and continues to grow under new management focused on customer experience and operational excellence.
