Senior Accountant About the
Role:
A growing, client-focused accounting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This newly created position supports continued growth and offers an opportunity to work closely with a variety of individual and small business clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporate entities Manage and maintain client bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online, including: Bank reconciliations General ledger adjustments Sales tax calculations Payroll adjustments Communicate directly with clients to gather required documentation and clarify tax-related questions Research and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting Stay current with relevant tax laws and accounting standards
Qualifications:
3+ years of bookkeeping experience Proficiency with QuickBooks Online preferred
