We are partnering with a stable, family-owned organization in the Red Bank, NJ area seeking a Senior Accountant due to company growth and an upcoming retirement. With very low turnover and a collaborative, tenured team, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company with a strong culture. The organization generates approximately $100M in revenue and operates across 50 entities , offering exposure to a dynamic and multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform monthly and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Assist with consolidations across multiple entities Prepare and review payroll-related entries Maintain and track fixed assets and depreciation schedules Support financial reporting and ensure accuracy of the general ledger Collaborate with the Controller and accounting team on ongoing process improvements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills Team player with the ability to work independently
