Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or accounting-related major. A valid certificate preferred as a Registered Municipal Accountant; or Certified Public Accountant; or a master's in accounting. At least five (5) years of work experience. Work experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in public school accounting. Knowledge of the principles and practices of financial accounting and reporting procedures consistent with statute, code, and GAAP requirements. Knowledge of accepted business practices in public school districts relative to accounting and budget preparation. Organization and communication skills. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal registered alien status. Salary Min. Starting Salary $65,000, commensurate with experience.
