Job DescriptionJob Description Commercial Construction Project Controls Accountant Why this role matters Keep a flagship commercial project in Bergen County, NJ on-budget and on-course by delivering precise financial stewardship within a general contracting environment. What you'll own Project financial statements and reporting packages Budget tracking, cost-to-complete, and commitment management Revenue recognition and forecast updates in partnership with PMs Cost analysis to surface savings and flag emerging risks Subcontractor pay application processing and documentation control Insurance, bond, and subcontractor compliance reviews Owner billing, invoice preparation, and accounts receivable support Certified payroll compliance and required reporting What you'll bring Hands-on experience in construction accounting or project accounting Strong command of job costing and project financial controls Ability to perform in a fast-moving GC environment Exceptional attention to detail and organization Location Bergen County, New Jersey - embedded with a general contracting team on a large commercial construction project.
