Associate's Acct/Finance Plus:
Bachelor's Acct/Finance Experience in Warehousing, logistics, etc. Experience with Fedex, DHL, UPS huge Job description: : The Assistant Accountant supports the Controller by processing day-to-day accounting transactions, maintaining accurate records, performing reconciliations, and assisting with audit and compliance documentation. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting through detailed, organized work and strong follow-through.
Key Responsibilities :
Transaction Processing :
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices, employee reimbursements, and issuing payments to vendors.
Reconciliation :
Perform daily or monthly reconciliations of bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
Audit & Compliance :
Compile documentation for internal/external audits
Required Qualifications :
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Accounting Knowledge :
Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Soft Skills :
Close attention to detail and the ability to identify numerical discrepancies. Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet strict reporting deadlines. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial data with integrity
Salary/Benefits/Hours:
Hours:
8-5 Compensation range: $60,000•70,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with a match, in accordance with company policy
PTO:
Year 1-2•10 days; Year 3•15 days; all Legal & Jewish holidays off Additional info/team structure: The team is very close There is room for growth due to the company's client list continually expanding
Pay:
$60,000.00•$70,000.00 per year
