9:00 AM EST to 6:00 PM EST Job Description Project/team unique selling point: Experienced Private Equity fund accountant, knowledge of GAAP / IFRS, proficient using Microsoft excel, partnership accounting, and experience in specialized software, such as Investran. Must-haves Private Equity fund accounting experience Advanced knowledge of financial instruments, specifically bank loans, bonds, and other fixed income securities. Good understanding of investor allocations, performance fee, and waterfall calculations
Education Requirement :
4-year degree in Accounting, Business, Finance Nice-to-haves Advanced Geneva / Investran experience Advanced in MS Office 4-5 years private equity experience Qualified candidate will: (1)report and verify private equity data to clients, internal business groups and database companies. (2) complete surveys and worksheets. (3) update and maintain M/F database; and (4) prepare reports and notifications. Duties may also include completion of financial statements, reconcilements on holdings, accruals, trades and cash balances and verifying tax statements that are issued to the Tax Department.
