Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation, review, and processing of invoices for federal contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Allocate charges to appropriate contract line items or task orders based on established guidelines.
- Distinguish reimbursable and non-reimbursable expenses, adhering to contract specifications.
- Collaborate closely with the Assistant Controller and Controller to support billing cycles and month-end activities.
- Manage account reconciliations and journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct month-end close procedures and ensure timely reporting.
- Handle bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Support a paperless accounting environment by leveraging systems-driven processes.
- Provide expertise in navigating compliance requirements for federal contract billing.
