job summary: Randstad is seeking to identify an analytical, and growth-oriented Senior Tax Accountant. This newly established position reports directly to the Tax Director and serves as a strategic cornerstone for the organization's expanding tax function. This pivotal function bridges the gap between historical financial data and forward-looking corporate tax strategy, spearheading the migration from an outsourced model to a fully insourced corporate tax ecosystem.

The successful candidate will actively contribute to the architectural design of an internal tax infrastructure, mentor junior staff from inception, and execute a clearly defined transition plan to assume the role of Tax Manager to support the enterprise's rapid domestic expansion. Direct the tracking of inside and outside basis, oversee capital accounts, and manage Schedule M-1/M-3 book-to-tax differences to support a multi-tiered corporate and partnership structure. Prepare and review workpapers and tie-out reports. Manage S-Corporation requirements while systematically structuring compliance workflows for transition into Partnerships for new institutional investors. Assist with the corporate tax trial balance workstream, converting GAAP financial data into tax-sensitized trial balances in alignment with the General Ledger (GL) accounting team. Leverage tax research platforms to execute deep-dive technical research across new jurisdictions, establishing precise tax rates and product taxability matrices for national site launches. Oversee the auditing of sales and use tax data, and perform annual rate reviews to guarantee total system accuracy across all operational jurisdictions.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or Finance, is required.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, or active and verifiable progress toward completion, is highly preferred.

Minimum of 4+ years of corporate tax experience within a public accounting firm or a corporate tax department.

Proficiency in Partnership Taxation, S-Corporation mechanics, and multi-state indirect tax regulations.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, tailored for C-suite reporting and cross-departmental collaboration.
