Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Las Vegas, NV | $70,000 - $85,000 Vaco has partnered with a growing home services organization to hire a Staff Accountant for its Las Vegas accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to grow their career in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. You'll gain direct exposure to accounting leadership, play a key role in month-end close and financial reporting, and contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries during the month-end close process Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and intercompany accounts Assist with financial reporting, variance analysis, and audit preparation Partner with accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate financial records Support system enhancements, automation projects, and process improvements

Requirements:

3+ years of accounting experience with exposure to general ledger accounting Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations ERP experience (Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar preferred) Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and lookup functions Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
