Short Description Looking for an individual to become an integral part of the Global Gaming and Digital Corporate Accounting - consolidations group.Location:
Reno, NV Responsibilities Preparation of inter-company profit elimination and other complex journal entries Maintain foreign exchange rate tables. Liaison between Corporate Accounting and IGT subsidiaries. Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations. Coordinate and prepare Cash flow statements. Manage corporate accounting projects. Maintain Chart of Accounts. Provide documentation for financial and SOX audits. Interact with both internal & external auditors. Implement process improvements and update policies & procedures. Perform monthly FX valuation process. Assist with month-end close activities. Prepare schedules for Q/K reporting. Ad hoc reporting and special projects.First Year Goals:
After the first year, selected candidate will display expertise in preparation of consolidated financial statements. Candidate will also develop productive working relationships with Accounting and Finance business partners. Candidate's goals and accomplishments are directly tied with the Company's strategic objectives, and many exciting project objectives will be achieved. Qualifications 5 to 7 years of accounting experience BS/BA degree in accounting required Advanced or in-depth knowledge of or skills in: General accounting standards (GAAP) SOX and gaming regulations requirements Project management Team player who can collaborate with partners from multiple disciplines Excellent verbal and written communications skills Analysis of financial statements, ledgers to prevent or detect errors Audit rules and regulations Compiling and presenting financial reports Spreadsheets and database applications.Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or CPA SAP experience Experience with Corporate consolidations Keys to Success Building collaborative relationships Decision making Drive results Foster innovation Personal energy Self-leadership At IGT, we believe compensation should be as individual as you are, reflecting your skills, experience, background, and location. For this role, the starting compensation range is $84,000 - $ 138,000 , with flexibility to adjust higher or lower based on the full scope of qualifications.
