Full Job Description Senior Cost Accountant Location:

Fully Onsite Experience Required:

3+ years (cost accounting experience required)

Open to relocation for strong candidates; local candidates preferred Position Overview Seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to support inventory valuation, cost accounting operations, financial reporting, and manufacturing analysis in a fast-paced environment. This role partners closely with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate costing, reporting, reconciliations, and process improvements. Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage standard inventory costing processes Support month-end and year-end close activities related to costing and inventory Perform variance analysis, overhead analysis, reconciliations, and inventory reporting Prepare operational reports, including labor, purchase price variance, and cost analysis Partner cross-functionally to resolve accounting and operational issues Assist with audit schedules and financial reporting requirements Manage annual cost updates and LIFO reserve schedules Support transfer pricing activities and finance projects Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in cost accounting Manufacturing industry experience required Strong knowledge of GAAP and standard cost systems ERP experience required (JDE preferred) Advanced analytical and Excel skills Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Benefits Competitive PTO and paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Life insurance Employee product discounts and wellness/perk programs
