Job Summary:

Description Bridget Killen with Robert Half is partnering with a well-known manufacturing company in the Albany area to identify a Senior Staff Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional with a strong manufacturing background and expertise in general ledger, cost accounting, fixed assets, payroll accounting, and advanced Microsoft Excel. Key Responsibilities Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close Perform cost accounting functions, including inventory analysis, standard cost review, and variance analysis Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and reconciliations Handle payroll accounting, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting Prepare account analyses and supporting schedules for financial reporting Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and internal financial reporting Partner with operations and finance leadership to support manufacturing accounting needs Identify process improvement opportunities and enhance reporting efficiency using advanced Excel If you're interested in hearing more, please apply directly or reach out to Bridget Killen from Robert Half directly!
