Our client is a well-established international strategic advisory and communications consultancy with a global footprint. We are actively recruiting for 2 GL Accountant roles to join their EU Hub in Amsterdam. This is a fantastic opportunity for finance professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and want to play a meaningful role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across a broad EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, including preparation, review, and analysis of consolidated financial statements in line with U.S. GAAP and local statutory requirements Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data across the region and its business units Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and close deliverables in a timely manner Prepare and review financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal accounting policies Support compliance with regulatory requirements and assist in preparing documentation and analysis for external audits Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide insights to support senior management decision-making

What You Bring:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA or equivalent certification, or active progress toward certification, is a plus A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant accounting or finance experience; public accounting experience is highly regarded Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS Experience in a global, multi-entity environment, ideally with exposure to multi-business unit structures, foreign currency reporting, and coordination across international finance teams Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency, with a sharp eye for detail and a focus on accuracy
