Job Description:

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations, month-end close, and ongoing financial process improvements. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely account reconciliations, and compliance with US GAAP. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, analytical, and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while helping build a strong and reliable accounting foundation in a growing organization. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for accounts receivable, invoicing, and customer collections, as well as accounts payable and vendor payment processing. This role will handle core general ledger accounting, including preparing and posting journal entries, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and monitoring customer accounts for variances or irregularities. The position will support month-end and year-end close activities, assist with financial reporting, and collaborate on process documentation, system updates, and workflow improvements. A strong focus on internal controls, data accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Operations, and leadership is essential. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and GAAP. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, comfort working with large data sets, and strong organizational and communication skills are required. Experience with QuickBooks Online, ERP systems, or other accounting software is preferred, along with exposure to high-growth or operationally complex environments. Candidates with an interest in process automation, system enhancements, and continuous improvement will thrive in this role.
