Job Description

Audit Intern - Summer 2027 Get a true glimpse into the accounting profession when you join Lumsden McCormick's internship program. Whether your interest is tax or audit, our paid interns are not filing, making copies, or delivering coffee; after an in-house orientation program you will begin working immediately on real jobs. Your days will closely mirror that of an entry-level staff accountant complete with training, mentoring, and direct client access. Learn the work as you do the work alongside our experienced staff. The Intern Accountant has primary responsibility for developing appropriate skills in applying accounting, auditing, and tax theory and principles. Intern accountants are expected to develop a technical knowledge base while observing how to apply that knowledge in a professional sense. Audit internships are available in the summer starting in June 2027.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and strong organization skills.
