Contract Job Duties:
Manage the payroll, accounts payable, LTC resident funds and non-patient billing function to ensure accurate and timely completion. Management to include clearing and resolving backlog of aged or unprocessed invoices, three-way matching, 1099 compliance, payment runs, large population payroll including gross-to-net entities, tax accruals, benefit deductions, and W-2 reconciliation using ADP and Workday. Produce month-end financial statements and accompanying variance analysis by established deadlines. Coordinate all FLH insurance policies and evaluate annual policy charges/rate increases. Coordinate all local, state and federal employment, sales and property tax filing to ensure accuracy and timely filing. Assist with year-end financial statement audit by preparing auditor-requested schedules.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting Minimum•5 years of accounting and financial reporting work experience, including some management-level accounting experience. Must have knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and federal/NY state financial regulations, advanced computer skills including using of Microsoft Office and financial databases. Must have strong technical skills and understanding of areas such as general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, cash flow, cost/benefit analysis, revenue management, operating budget, reporting and forecasting. Experience with labor management and productivity is strongly desired. Must have ability to build highly collaborative cross-functional relationships, be accessible and approachable. Highly preferred•Prior hospital or health system experience, ADP and Workday experience. CPA certification is preferred

8:00 AM•4:30 PM Monday•Friday 40 hours guaranteed
Pay:
