General Accountant - 会计 Crown Mansion LLC Great Neck, NY Job Details Full-time $55,000 - $70,000 a year 2 hours ago Qualifications Improving financial compliance protocols Mandarin Financial forecasting Financial close processing Internal controls Financial data reconciliation Management CPA Accounts receivable management Spreadsheets External financial audit coordination Financial performance report preparation 3 years Consolidated financial statement preparation Analysis skills Managing budgets in a finance role Accounts payable management Bachelor's degree Job order costing Construction industry experience Financial workflow efficiency improvements Accounting Certified Management Accountant Managing accounting teams Mentoring QuickBooks Accounting and finance experience Closing the books Construction Financial compliance enhancement Full Job Description Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and supporting schedules Assist in the preparation of audited financial statements Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, job costing, and accruals Ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled with supporting documentation Prepare consolidation entries and reconcile consolidated financial statements Support the CFO in developing annual budgets and financial forecasts Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency Train, supervise, and support accounting team members Collaborate with external auditors and accounting partners Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting (required); advanced degree is a plus 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably at the Accounting Manager level or equivalent 3+ years of QuickBooks experience Experience with ERP accounting systems Strong understanding of multi-entity and consolidation accounting Experience working with national or large audit firms Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Experience in the real estate or construction industry CPA or CMA certification (or in progress) Experience leading and mentoring accounting staff Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace
