Part-Time Controller/Accountant

TJ's Plumbing & Heating is seeking Part-Time Controller to join our team. This role involves overseeing our financial operations, with a strong emphasis on intergration between Service Titan and Quickbooks. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, payroll, and general ledger Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax professionals Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies Manage and reconcile financial data between ServiceTitan and QuickBooks Monitor KPIs such as revenue per job, gross margin, and technician efficiency Ensure proper handling of multi-business unit (BU) reporting

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in plumbing, HVAC, or home services Strong experience with QuickBooks Experience with Service Titan or the ability to learn new financial programs quickly Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Position Details:

Part-time:

approximately 16-24 hours per week (flexible schedule) On-site only Competitive hourly rate based on experience
