About theJob:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant with industry-specific expertise in construction and project accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial information in a larger ERP system. They will ensure all financial controls are met while simultaneously making sure all company policies are adhered to.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and produce internal financial reports to heads of departments and Senior Management. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Analyze construction costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Maintain and improve the financial system, processes, policies, and procedures. Manage project accounting and produce financial reports as requested by management. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements. Maintain and improve the implementation and efficient running of ERP systems. Participate in budgeting and financial forecasting processes.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. At least five years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry. Solid understanding and experience with ERP systems. Proficiency in project accounting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to details. Sound knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is highly desirable, but not a prerequisite.Similar jobs in Levittown, NY
