Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Billing Specialist to join our team in Liverpool, New York. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical role in managing billing and accounting processes for food service and vending operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial accuracy and efficiency of a dynamic and fast-paced industry.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct audits of vending machine operations, analyzing revenue, cash flow, and overall performance.
  • Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments throughout the accounts payable cycle.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, identify discrepancies, and resolve billing issues effectively.
  • Enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets with precision.
  • Generate and maintain accurate financial reports to support operational decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement and operations teams to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Assist with month-end closing tasks, ensuring all financial records are up-to-date.
  • Monitor and evaluate billing systems to ensure compliance and optimal functionality.
  • Provide support for vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
  • Implement best practices for financial recordkeeping and reporting. Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or billing role, ideally within food service or vending industries.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and computerized billing systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and resolve issues.
  • Familiarity with billing functions, collection processes, and statement generation.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
