Tax Accountant / Bookkeeper

Job DescriptionJob Description We are looking for a Tax Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and file individual and corporate tax returns Assist with tax resolution cases and client representation Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Support financial reporting and accounting operations using modern accounting software Ensure compliance with GAAP and current tax laws Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement Communicate directly with clients to understand their financial needs and provide consultative support Meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively ​

Qualifications:

Previous experience in accounting or a related financial field Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Familiarity with corporate and individual tax filing requirements Understanding of tax resolution processes and client representation Proficiency in current accounting software and reporting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Excel, etc.) Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred (CPA track a plus) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with excellent time management Passion for client service and relationship building Strong communication and interpersonal skills Open to feedback with a desire for continuous improvement Team player with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn Benefits What to expect: Expect to advance your understanding of sustainable finance subjects, meet thoughtful people across different fields of expertise, and produce results that will make you proud.
