Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Tax Associate to join our growing team. This role offers hands on experience across tax preparation, bookkeeping, client accounting services, and advisory support. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys working directly with clients, and is looking for long term growth within a rapidly expanding firm. Key Responsibilities Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and trusts Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online and Desktop Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts Assist with payroll tax filings and sales tax reporting Communicate directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and provide updates Maintain organized and accurate client files and records Support year end tax planning and client advisory initiatives Stay current on tax law changes and compliance requirements Assist with special projects and operational initiatives as the firm continues to grow Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred. Candidates with an Associate's degree and an active Enrolled Agent (EA) designation will also be strongly considered CPA, EA, or candidates currently pursuing CPA licensure are encouraged to apply 1 to 3 years of experience in tax preparation and bookkeeping, preferably in public accounting Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Familiarity with tax software such as ProSeries, Drake, Lacerte, UltraTax, or similar platforms Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and client service abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently What We Offer Strong opportunity for advancement within a rapidly growing firm Exposure to a wide variety of clients and industries Collaborative and supportive team environment Direct interaction with leadership and clients Competitive compensation and long term growth potential
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
