The firm provides tax planning, tax return preparation, merger and acquisition consulting, and management and business consulting to companies in the greater New York area. Job Description

• Preparation of federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses and fiduciaries
• Review of staff prepared federal and state income tax returns
• Preparation and review of clients' books and records
• Analyze financial statements
• Train junior accounting staff
• Special projects
• Interact with clients Desired Skills and Experience
• Must have CPA license and 5 - 7 years of experience working in a CPA firm
• Self-motivated, demonstrates initiative and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to proactively manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Proficient in QuickBooks
• High-level analytical and reasoning skills
• Attention to detail
• Experience in tax research
• Ability to work in a team environment
