Job DescriptionJob Description We are looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant for a fast‐growing consumer company in New York, NY. This role will support SEC‐ready financial reporting and month‐end close during a critical backfill period.

Hours:
9:00-5:30 (flex start)
Location:
New York, NY 10012 (SoHo)
Contract:
3‐month contract with potential conversion
Work Model:
Primarily onsite, moving to 4 days onsite Day to
Day:
Prepare month‐end close entries and reconciliations Perform variance analysis and controller reporting Support and prepare 10‐Q and 10‐K filings Draft technical accounting memos Coordinate close timelines Liaise with external auditors
Requirements:
Public company or public accounting experience Hands‐on SEC reporting experience Month‐end close ownership Strong US GAAP knowledge Strong communication skills
Plusses:
NetSuite or FloQast CPA Audit liaison experience Process improvement or automation exposure
Compensation:
Hourly:
$125/hr - $135/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
