Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant for a full-time position. This role will be assisting with financial reporting and supporting month-end close activities and other special projects as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles. Key Responsibilities Experienced in preparing and reviewing financial statements and conducting variance analysis for management. Proven ability to support month-end close and year-end audit in fast-paced environment while improving processes. Strong reconciliation background across balance sheet, bank, and intercompany accounts. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Assist with revenue recognition and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and schedules. Lead the preparation, maintenance, and monitoring of monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate budgets and forecasts, providing detailed financial analysis and recommendations to senior management. Experienced in cash handling, full-cycle AR support, daily/weekly reconciliations, profit/loss reporting, and managing sensitive financial records. Experienced in high-volume AP managing full-cycle processing, vendor payments, and invoice approvals across multiple entities. Prepare timely monthly bank reconciliations and ensuring timely sales tax filings. Prepare reports and analyses for management regarding receivables performance and cash flow. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer inquiries. Prepare and analyze AR & AP aging reports and recommend collection/payment strategies. Identify opportunities to improve accounts receivable/payable processes and internal controls. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve customer/vendor account issues. Process-driven. Experienced in implementing new processes and automation to improve cash flow and reduce inefficiencies. Assist with special projects and perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management. Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding of month-end close activities. Experience with financial reporting and general ledger accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data analysis. Experience with DealerTrack, NetSuite or similar preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications CPA or CPA-track candidate preferred. Preparing monthly financial statements and supporting month-end close. Experience managing high-volume work environment. Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and internal controls. Prior experience mentoring junior accounting.
