Job Description
Staff Accountant Mad Display, Inc. is a retail display manufacturing company specializing in creating custom-branded environments for our clients. Our team brings projects to life from concept to completion through consultation, design, production, and installation services. While our production team focuses on delivering exceptional results for our clients, our accounting department plays a critical role in supporting the financial health of the organization. We are currently seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations and working directly with the CFO to maintain accurate financial records. This individual will also work closely with management to monitor expenses associated with large-scale projects and provide timely financial insights to help ensure profitability goals are achieved. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Word, Excel, & PowerPoint- Adobe Acrobat (preferred) Duties for this position include:
- Review and reconcile accounting transactions in QuickBooks Online to ensure expenses and revenues are accurately recorded, classified, and reflected in up-to-date financial records.
- Enter and process client invoices and vendor bills while maintaining accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records; proactively communicate with client accounting departments to resolve outstanding balances and minimize account aging.
- Perform monthly credit card reconciliations by matching receipts to transactions, maintaining supporting documentation, and updating balance dues in QuickBooks Online.
- Collaborate with the sales team to prepare project proposals and quotations using Microsoft Excel or Adobe Acrobat for prospective clients during the bidding process.
- Monitor project-related expenses throughout the production cycle in collaboration with the sales and purchasing departments, ensuring costs are accurately allocated to the appropriate job cards.
- Review project expense reports with the sales and management teams to analyze profitability and identify opportunities to meet margin objectives.
- Organize receipts and prepare employee and management reimbursement reports on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
- Assist the CFO with month-end closing procedures and other general accounting functions as assigned; payroll knowledge with ADP systems is a plus.
- Maintain organized financial records and support management with reporting and analysis as needed.
Pay:
$70,000.00- $75,000.
