This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend financial expertise with marketing acumen, supporting our organization's growth and operational excellence. You will be responsible for managing core accounting functions while also contributing to marketing initiatives that enhance our brand presence. The ideal candidate is energetic, proactive, and passionate about delivering high-quality work that drives results. This paid position is perfect for someone eager to develop their skills in both accounting and marketing within a vibrant, fast-paced environment. Duties Manage and perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tylernet, Microsoft office products and platforms Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining accurate records Conduct bank reconciliations and account analysis to verify financial accuracy in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant standards Prepare detailed financial reports, including inventory analysis, expense reviews, and other analysis to support organizational decision-making Assist with payroll processing, tax preparation, and governmental accounting requirements to ensure compliance with all regulations Support marketing efforts by creating promotional content, managing digital campaigns, and analyzing market trends to optimize outreach strategies Utilize technical accounting skills to handle complex transactions such as double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and general ledger reconciliation Qualifications Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar platforms; familiarity with Quicken is a plus Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles including GAAP and governmental accounting standards Experience in non-profit or public accounting environments is highly desirable Knowledge of financial concepts like budgeting, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis Proficiency in bookkeeping tasks including journal entries, general ledger accounting, and 10 key typing for data entry accuracy Familiarity with tax experience related to payroll and other financial obligations Excellent skills in financial report writing and account reconciliation processes Ability to handle accounts payable/receivable efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform bank reconciliations and account analysis accurately Technical proficiency in financial software tools along with a solid understanding of debits & credits and double entry bookkeeping Join us to be part of a forward-thinking team that values innovation in both finance and marketing!
