Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part Time Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the accounting department by performing essential bookkeeping and data entry tasks, assisting with financial record maintenance, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about numbers, highly organized, and eager to develop their skills. Duties Perform data entry for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions using QuickBooks. Perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial records Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end closing reports. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions including debits & credits, account reconciliation reports, and audit documentation. Qualifications Must have experience with QuickBooks Strong understanding of basic financial concepts including journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting Ability to analyze accounts and perform account analysis efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and support team objectives.
