Sr. Accountant

Chris Preble is working with a Syracuse client of his in the construction industry that is rapidly growing. This organization has an outstanding reputation in the market and is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have accounting experience within the construction industry; however, candidates coming from manufacturing environments will also be strongly considered. Responsibilities Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Analyze financial results and support management reporting Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes Support budgeting, forecasting, and project/job cost analysis Partner with operations and project management teams on financial matters Assist with audit preparation and external reporting requirements Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Construction industry experience preferred; manufacturing experience also highly valued Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
