Job Summary:
Our company is seeking a Property Accountant to join our team in Westchester County, New York. The Property Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of a portfolio of properties, while also gaining exposure to broader accounting processes and opportunities for increased responsibility over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting functions for an assigned portfolio of propertiesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsPerform bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, and account analysisRecord journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactionsAssist with month-end and year-end close processesOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tenant billing activityPrepare CAM reconciliations, budgets, and variance analysesMaintain accuracy of lease data, rent rolls, and supporting financial documentationPartner with property management and leadership teams to support financial and operational goalsAssist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controlsReasons to apply:
