Senior Property Accountant Immediate Hire! Short Process. Looking to have someone start within 2 weeks. 📍 White Plains, NY 10601 (Fully Onsite) 💰 Up to $120K Growing real estate firm seeking a hands-on Senior Property Accountant to oversee a residential portfolio (~1.5K units across 20 properties). High-visibility role with team oversight and involvement in financials, reporting, and system improvements. What You'll Do Manage full-cycle property accounting, month-end close, and reporting Review accounts payable and accounts receivable activity, including rent rolls, tenant ledgers, and collections Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast and provide explanations to management Oversee consolidations, GL, and variance analysis Supervise 2 staff (Jr. Accountant + Accounting Admin) Support Yardi transition (Breeze → Voyager) and streamline processes Partner with leadership on budgeting and portfolio performance What We're Looking For 5-10 years of accounting experience (real estate preferred) Residential property accounting experience a plus (rent-stabilized / affordable housing) Yardi experience (Voyager strongly preferred) Strong Excel + hands-on, detail-oriented approach Why This Role Reports directly to VP of Finance Growing platform with expansion plans Opportunity to make an impact during system transition Collaborative, team-oriented environment For an immediate response, please send your resume to jcanabal@ascendo.com
