Accounting Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial acumen and experience in tax, private equity, and financial services through collegiate or previous field experience. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of financial tasks and gain valuable experience in the industry.
Duties:
  • Assist with tax related administrative duties when required
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making
  • Utilize accounting software such as Ultra Tax for data entry and financial record keeping
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information
  • Assist in audits and tax preparation processes
  • Traveling to and from audit fieldwork
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Previous experience requested, but not required in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of debits and credits
  • Proficiency in using accounting software such as Ultra Tax
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
