Job Description
Local CPA firm seeking a full time staff accountant. Candidates need to have a positive attitude, attention to detail and a great work ethic. Position entails payroll processing, bookkeeping, including payroll tax reporting, sales tax and 1099 reporting and tax return preparation. Position also includes general office duties - answering phones, filing and other duties as assigned. Basic understanding of accounting, payroll preparation and tax preparation a plus. Knowledge of Quickbooks, Excel and Word preferable. Starting pay adjusted for experience.
