Key Responsibilities- Manage project accounting activities, including cost tracking, budget monitoring, and financial reporting for active construction projects
- Prepare monthly project‑related journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Analyze project performance, identify variances, and communicate insights to project managers and leadership
- Support project budgeting and forecasting, ensuring alignment with timelines, resources, and financial expectations
- Assist with internal controls, audits, and process improvement initiatives related to project workflows
- Collaborate with operations, project managers, and field teams to ensure accurate financial data and timely updates
- Utilize ERP and construction management systems to support project reporting and financial accuracy Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience; construction or project‑based accounting strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP, job cost tracking, and project‑based financial processes
- Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with ERP or construction accounting systems
